Building Relationships & Filling Needs in Our Community
Our Purpose & Vision:
Our primary goal is to build relationships in our community two ways:
- Through supporting current and future Affiliate Ministries with marketing, encouragement toward building their entity, fundraising, volunteerism and emotional support.
- Communicate to the public about other volunteer groups, nonprofits or organizations in Cowlitz County, by sharing their missions, needs, services & events in a way to promote them in being more efficient & productive. As we are able we will support these programs &/or events, that support our mission statement, through volunteerism &/or financial support.
Our secondary goal is to educate our community about and reach populations that are under-served including people or animals experiencing homelessness, people in danger of experiencing homelessness, and sex offenders.
Our Target Population
While Living Ministries serves all community members seeking information & resources made available by organizations in our community, our target population are people without homes & those who are on the brink of homelessness.
At this point the Geographic Reach of Living Ministries has only had the opportunity to impact the Kelso-Longview, WA area, but our goal is to create a hub for all interested organizations in Cowlitz County to register through & be referred when our assessments finds the person that needs help will be best helped by those specific organizations.
We have also considered the possibility of helping areas beyond Cowlitz County as opportunity arises.
Recognition Opportunities
As Living Ministries grows & defines itself, we are considering our role & strategic goals in Cowlitz County. We are beginning to see that there will be a time that we will be allowed to offer donors the chance to change the world, through investment & service opportunities. In gratitude we would like to offer the following to all groups & individuals that choose to stand beside us:
- Thank you letter on receipt of financial aid.
- Donors names & web addresses will be added to Our Supporters page. (Logos will be accepted by groups that submit them)
- Art for Living Ministries will be provided to groups & individuals that want to show affiliation.
- Recognition on Facebook fan page with a post & picture in a photo album consisting of other supporters which include a summary provided by the organization & any contact information provided.
- Public thanks through our eclub. Sponsors will be offered the opportunity to have their logo & link to web site on each email.
