A Crime Victim Advocate responds to the needs of the primary and secondary victims and families who have been victimized whether the crime was reported to the police or not.
A Victim Advocate works to promote the restoration of a crime victim’s sense of safety, dignity, and personal power. At the heart of every advocacy service is an approach that is victim centered.
