Description:
The Extreme Weather Center (EWC) is a place where people of Cowlitz County can come to get our of the weather elements in extreme weather conditions.
When:
In the event of extreme cold weather during the months of December 2010, January 2011 and February 2011 in Cowlitz County; 31 degrees or lower.
Where:
403 Academy Street

7 pm to 7 am
Volunteer Opportunities:
Love Overwhelming is looking for volunteers to be on stand-by for a one week period, or more, during December 2010, January 2011 and February 2011. Volunteers will only be called in the event of extreme weather in Cowlitz County.
We Need the Following Items:
- Backpacks
- Blankets
- Gloves
- Socks
- Stocking Hats/Beanies
- Scarves
- Protein/Granola Bars
- Ponchos (plastic/vinyl)
- Thermal Underwear
- Hand/To Warmers (Hot Hands)
- Coffee, Cocoa, Sugar, Creamer
- Instant Oatmeal Packets
