New Business: Jon and Christine Randall have just bought a new auction business, Cowlitz County Auction House. We have the opportunity to be their first non-profit to raise money. We will need five people. 1 person will represent for the silent auction and donation jar. 1 person will manage a 50/50 raffle. The other three people will be the runners. They will be available to help people carry their new items to their cars. We can also accept tips for carrying goods out for people. We can have a little face time to talk about the organization. We will also have the opportunity to display a donation jar. We can ask area businesses for donation to sell at the auction. This offers the business a chance to advertise and offers the Non-Profit a chance to raise money.
A motion was made by Summer Clemenson to participate in the Auction on Friday, February 18, 2011 from 4pm-6pm. Living Ministries and Attic Ministries will share both the workload and the funds raised. The motion was seconded by Karen Gidderon. Auction will take place.
The Shower house project is moving forward. Sonny Huhtala announced there is a duplex available in the highlands area. A group of investors has been identified. A motion was made by Karen Gidderon to move forward with discussions with investors. The motion was seconded by Summer Clemenson. More info will be garnered at the next Living Ministries power meeting.
Old Business: No old business was discussed.
Next Living Ministries Power Group Meeting: TBA
