Attendance: Summer Clemenson, Sonny Huhtala, and Karen Gidderon
The meeting was called to order by President Sonny Huhtala at 6:11pm. The power group decided to open with a joint prayer. A review of the new brochure was conducted and everyone loved it. Next the discussion turned to the positioning statement. The positioning statement has been changed from Unifying the community to heal homelessness and to restore relationships to Healing The Disease Of Homelessness.
The group decided to change the stakeholders meeting from Wednesday, December 01, 2010 to December 15, 2010 due to a huge economic summit occurring the same day and time. Karen will change the reservation for the PUD auditorium to December 15, 2010.
The stakeholder list will be submitted for approval at the next power group meeting. Summer will research the cost to use an e-mail campaign to invite each stakeholder to the big event on December 15, 2010. The meeting closed at 8:15pm.
The Next Living Ministries Power Group Meeting will be held at The Nazarene Church on 15th Avenue in Longview at 4:00pm on Sunday, November 28, 2010 .
