New Business: Vote to use $50 of Living Ministries funds to kick off our pet food drive for CAP Meals on Wheels

Hi Everyone…this is the President here! 🙂 Calling a Virtual Committee Meeting to Order! I am petitioning you to vote on an idea. I would like to use $50 of Living Ministries funds to purchase pet food to kick start our pet food drive, to benefit CAP Meal on Wheels, at Bark for Life on July 16th…Please vote now! Thanks!

Thank you everyone who voted. I am closing the meeting now. I will be contacting The Pet Works to see if they would like to donate, or give us the food at cost.

Note: This following is from Living Ministries Bylaws:

VI. Voting

  1. (a) A majority of board members constitutes a quorum. (b) In absence of a quorum, no formal action shall be taken except to adjourn the meeting to a subsequent date.
  2. Passage of a motion requires a simple majority (ie, one more than half the members present).

At this time for  motions to pass the vote virtually we require a majority of Board Members to agree. Current Board Members include: Summer Clemenson, President, Karen Gidderon, Vice President, Elizabeth Evans, Linda Haarstad, Jeff Hamilton & Sonny & Leslee Huhtala.

To become a member you must tell our president of your desire. If the president agrees they will address the nomination during a monthly meeting. A majority vote of present members will allow a new board member to be named.
