The meeting started at 6:10 pm with a review of the brand new Living Ministries Facebook page. It was decided that the logo was incredible and needed no further work. More names were added to the contact list for the upcoming stakeholders meeting. Karen will contact the Cowlitz PUD office to reserve the auditorium for December 01, 2010. This is when the first stakeholders meeting will take place.
Some discussion occurred in reference to the positioning statement for Living Ministries. It was deemed that the positioning statement become “Unifying The Community To Heal Homelessness While Restoring Relationships.”
The Living Ministries stakeholder meeting will begin with a meet and greet session. Then we will assign everyone a number. Those with like numbers will be grouped together. Then we will ask each stakeholder to define their perception of homelessness. All ideas will be posted for everyone to see. This will start the important conversation about the various amounts of value each stakeholder brings to this powerful evening.
Next Living Ministries Power Meeting will be November 14, 2010 at 6pm at the Intermission Café in Longview,Washington
The next meeting will challenge us to focus on creating a mission statement, location for stakeholder meeting, articles for meeting and approval of meeting agenda. More details for the awesome new website will be planned. A plan for business paperwork will be constructed.
