Dear Community,
I have fantastic news! After our regular Board of Directors meeting Wednesday night I am super excited to announce that Living Ministries has some new executive officers!
During our meeting I resigned as President. I am glad to retain the position of Executive Director and Treasurer but I am even more excited to announce that Karen Gidderon is now our President, Linda Haarstad is our new Vice President and Jamie Holloway is officially our Secretary. We agreed to dissolve the position of Public Relations Specialists, since Executive Director, President, Vice President and Secretary take different parts of this role.
Karen Gidderon
Karen Gidderon has served as Vice President since November 2010. She is a great support to Living Ministries and our community. Karen also serves as Vice President of the Hospice Foundation and currently is the onsite manager of 4 The Long View Motel – Ministry of The Salvation Army.
Karen’s face to face approach to communication and her can-do attitude are refreshing and empowering! We are confident she will continue to serve and help to Unify our Community to Administer Hope.
Linda Haarstad
Linda Haarstad has served Living Ministries since April 2011 as a General Committee Member. We were very surprised that when it was suggested by Committee Member, John Hanna, that Linda be nominated, she accepted! Linda is amazing. She is a retired pastor and semi-retired counselor and her capacity to love, listen and minister is phenomenal. Her creativity and ability to organize an event make her perfect for the fundraising and public relations position she has just taken on.
Jamie Holloway
Jamie Holloway has been serving with Living Ministries since December 2011. We created the Public Relations Specialists position in June 2012 in hopes that she would be able to help with some of the communication, as she was not ready to commit to be Secretary. She has done a great job and things have lined up so she is able to take on the role, we think, she was born for. We are proud to announce that Jamie will be our new Secretary!
Jamie’s take charge attitude make her the micro-managing mama that Living Ministries needs to keep moving forward toward our goal of Unifying the Community to Administer Hope. This same gift made Christmas Angel Telethon 2012 as much of a breeze at it could be!
My team is falling into place and I amazingly blessed! Thank you ladies!
