Prior to the Helping the Helpers Benefit Concert we are also accepting SURVIVAL ITEMS: Socks, New Underwear in the Package, New or Gently Used and Washed Sleeping Bags and Backpacks, Tarps, Bottled Water, Fresh Fruit, Granola Bars, Flashlights, Stocking Caps, Scarves, Gloves. Please call 360-610-7778 to arrange a pickup. We will not be accepting anything larger than socks at Helping the Helpers Benefit Concert.
Hearts For Homeless a small ministry that specializes in outreach to our homeless neighbors in Cowlitz County. They offer sack lunches, donated survival items and more importantly relationship. They also do Jail Ministry, AA and NA Sponsorship, Advocacy Services and other trust building activities that help people who aren’t ready to come to many other service organizations to aid in retaining housing.
Love Overwhelming is a local non-profit that offers Resource Case Management, Daily Living Essential Cafe and Overnight Low Barrier Shelter to homeless people in Kelso-Longview, Washington. Their relationship-based style of interaction is a treasure to people that need help retaining housing, medical care and other services. They also offer showers and laundry services to those who need it.
