Karen asked Summer what she wanted to do for her birthday and Summer said, throw a Benefit Concert for Hearts for Homeless and Love Overwhelming…so the rest of the LM Crew were drug along for all the fun we could hold in a bag!
Why did we call it The Bag Party…Summer thought since sleeping bags and backpacks are always in need for 2 of her favorite organizations that serve our homeless friends and her favorite thing to make at Knotty Wares are bags…that the theme should be bags!
With a goal in mind, Karen set off to find a venue and Summer began making contact with bands that make her want to dance and together they started building a bag for us all to jump into!
The show will be MC’d by our very own, Karen Gidderon. Claire Beck, Julian and Mending Hope are opening for none other than Jeff Hamilton for local, original music all night long!

Hearts for Homeless meets homeless people where they are at. They travel to all the hiding spots and love on them. Bringing them food, clothes and other needed items. But most of all, friendship!

Love Overwhelming hosts Daily Living Essential Cafe every Tuesday that offers showers, light food, a warm and dry place to stay and basic living essentials like hygiene & easy to carry snack foods and water. They also open up an Extreme Weather Center for when the weather drops below 31 °.
